No. Marqio screens public trademark registers. Assessment and filing remain with a law firm. Every case file carries the note Screening · Not Legal Advice.
EUIPO (EU trade marks), the national registers of all 27 EU states and Switzerland; the International clearance adds UKIPO and WIPO/Madrid. Queries run via TMview, the search platform of the European trade mark offices, and for EU trade marks first via the EUIPO API.
The quick check only finds identical and near-identical active marks at EUIPO and DPMA; near-identical means at most one character difference, from five characters up. The clearance additionally retrieves similar spellings from the registers: one character difference per word and typical sound-alike spellings (z/s, c/k, y/i, ph/f, double letters). It rates every hit by sound and spelling, matches against your Nice classes and covers up to 31 registers. Sound-alikes at a greater distance are not always found.
The result lists the register as not reached. You can retry it at no extra cost. If no register responds at all, nothing is charged.
