Trademark clearance with evidence.
The quick check finds identical and near-identical active marks at EUIPO and DPMA — deterministic, without AI. Similar spellings at a greater distance, sound, your classes and further countries are covered only by the full clearance.
Registers
- EUIPO — EU trade marks, valid in all 27 member states.
- National registers of all 27 EU member states, including DPMA (Germany).
- Switzerland — national marks (IGE).
- International clearance additionally: UKIPO (United Kingdom) and WIPO/Madrid (international registrations).
Source: TMview, the search platform of the European trade mark offices operated by EUIPO; EU trade marks first via the EUIPO Trademark Search API. Registers that do not respond are listed as not reached and can be retried for free.
How the verdict is formed
- Conflict. An active mark in one of your Nice classes that is identical or very similar (phonetic or visual similarity of at least 0.85).
- Watch. No conflict, but similar active marks (from 0.70) in your classes. A law firm should assess them.
- Clear. No similar active mark in your classes. Similar marks in other classes are listed but do not decide the verdict.
Expired and withdrawn marks count as not relevant. Every verdict names the hits it is based on, with register and number.
What the result contains
- Verdict with the reason in one sentence and next steps.
- Hits sorted by relevance: register and number with link, classes, status, owner, phonetic and visual similarity.
- Class matrix and coverage per register.
- Case file with timestamp, PDF report and report email; every run is stored append-only.
What a screening does not replace
Marqio checks registered trademarks. Company names, unregistered rights and domains are not covered, and a clear verdict is no guarantee of registration. Marqio prepares the evidence; a law firm assesses it.
